The Replacements, “They’re Blind”

The last two Replacements albums, Don’t Tell A Soul  (1989) and All Shook Down (1990) are considered by most to be low-lights of their catalogue.  The first has a shiny production sound that didn’t quite mesh with people’s expectations.  The final album is basically Paul Westerberg’s first solo work.  They will never be considered “classic” Mats but damn, there are some nice hidden gems on both works.

“All Shook Down”

Lo-fi before lo-fi was cool, natch.
