Where does a Terry Pratchett-curious guy start with Discworld?

    The mass majority of people that I’ve seen suggest a good starting point is Good Omens. Which is actually a collaboration between Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman. If you want to attempt the discworld series apparently the publication dates don’t necessarily follow the reading order. Take that with a grain of salt because I’ve read none of the above as of yet.

    Good Omens is brilliant, but if you want Discworld, the first two are joke-driven; start with Mort (his first really good one), or start one of the sub-series (Guards Guards! is a police noirish procedural with a dragon)…
    Small Gods is utterly brilliant – save it to savour it!
