No one could have predicted:

“Former Arizona county sheriff Richard Mack, a fierce opponent of Obamacare and a leader in the ‘constitutional sheriff’ movement, is struggling to pay his medical bills after he and his wife each faced serious illnesses. The former sheriff and his wife do not have health insurance and started a GoFundMe campaign to solicit donations from family and friends to cover the costs of their medical care.

‘Because they are self-employed, they have no medical insurance and are in desperate need of our assistance,’ reads a note on Mack’s personal website.”

It’s been clear from January 2009 that Republicans hate Obama more than they love America.  As the joke goes, if Obama cured cancer they’d advocate mandatory cigarette smoking.

But just how far down the rabbit hole do you have to be to hate Obama more than you love your family, i.e.,  taking the very accessible, highly prudent steps to provide health insurance for you and your spouse, and by extension, financial stability for your very young children in case of a medical crisis?

But hey, if everybody who suffered a heart attack or cancer would just man-up and sit next to the freeway entrance with a tin cup all of our problems would be solved due to the Randian grace of the benevolent free market.
