Serious Business

I’m helping to prepare a group of our students for visa interviews at the U.S. embassy this Friday.  It’s pretty tedious work — we basically just go over a script of questions regarding their academic and work backgrounds, their family, and why they want to study in America.

It feels good though to be helping them prepare for a trip that might change their life, or at the very least one they should thoroughly enjoy.

They already passed their interviews with the partner college in America, so I’d think the visa interview would be even easier (since they already have a sponsor in place).  But they’re treating it as an even bigger deal.

Can’t hurt I guess.
